My picks from autumn Boden

Although I don’t buy a lot from Boden because I’m a cheapskate, I really like their look and have had good luck with the items I have bought. The autumn catalog came the other day and these are the pieces I really like.

Stitch detail dress - cute on its own or layered
This season’s fun skirt - I love the fern applique on the black version
Perfect jersey dress - I just picked up a gray knit wrap dress from BR and am wondering whether I should replace it w/ this one - the gray print is minimalist but adds some needed interest
Pleat trim top - good with that satin skirt I posted about recently for dressy?
Scallop trim heels - some of the cutest heels I’ve seen in a long time, and a reasonable heel height
Satchel - I’m not a big bag person but this is cute
suede flats - So cute and great colors

Laura, I've been admiring that dress, too, in the Blue Crochet print. Great to hear that you've had good experience with them in the past; were the styles similar to this one? I love it in the pic. The Autumn swirly print would be lovely on a Team Earth colours gal.

I love Boden - they have a feminine style that is right up my alley!

I must confess I looking at the website and saying to myself "the exchange rate is great!" I swear, if I could easily return it, I would be right there alongside you ordering those gorgeous clothes. (Although I have noticed they are having a summer sale and I've been considering a few dresses and skirts for summer. Have you bought any? Any advice what looks great/what to avoid?)

I too have been eyeing the autumn Boden catalogue, especially their long-sleeve dresses. Love everything on your list:)

They do often run 20% off codes with free shipping, so that helps~

I love Boden, but wait for EOS usually. They do run promotions throughout the season and I think code EG03 should (haven't tried it) work for 10% off Fall and FS (discount goes up to 15% for fall purchases over $175) right now.

I think their best items are their great drapey knits and unique prints and colors. I have several of their knit dresses and love them. I have not purchased any footwear from them, but always admire it. The site has good reviews and I always read them (the UK reviews are even more detailed) to help with sizing. They have great customer service as well.

Such great choices. I like the colours and quality of the fabric Boden offers, this season I am lusting over this Boden boucle skirt in all colours (have you seen the citron Angie and Rae)

I love Boden, especially for their dresses! I succumbed to the Fall Preview back in May, and ended up with a couple of keepers. The Polka Dot Shift was beautiful, and I ended up keeping it in ruby. Also, the Breton tees were really nice. A lovely heavier knit which is a nice contrast to how thin so many knit tops are.

Katiepea, the Notch Neck Shift and the Textured Cotton Skirt from the spring/summer collection were really nice, although you want to pay attention to the measurements for the skirt, as it was running a bit tight compared to other things I've ordered. Also, the blog My Superfluities (http://mysuperfluities.blogspot.com/) is a good place to check for reviews. She wears a lot of Boden, and also compiles reviews from other bloggers.

That much patent on the satchel makes me nervous. It's like a big scratch waiting to happen - I wouldn't be able to enjoy something that shiny. lol

R&J, the Notre Dame skirt is adorable, and so on trend with the midi look - I would so be buying one myself if it wasn't d/c only. Lyn, I like the green satchel but MPJ is probably right about the patent, sigh.

I've gotten pants, a skirt, a woven top and sweaters from Boden - never shoes or knit tops (weirdly since they make a lot of them). The reviews on the site are usually quite helpful, if an item has been around long enough to gather some.
