My Parisian Chic/ "tomboy?" inspiration

There have been so many threads on Ines these past few weeks--

I finally found my source of inspiration from her:

I also think it has a nice masculine/feminine potentially tomboy edge.

Of course, I'd pare down the bracelets and necklace-- possibly only to a chunky watch.

I agree with the necklace dowsizing... I'd probably go with something that would soften up the top just a tinsie bit

I love the combination of the sportier hoodie with the dressy blazer. For me this outfit truly works because everything is ton-sur-ton, all those blues together are gorgeous. The interesting and chunky jewellery adds interest and spunk, and then there's her hair and red lipstick too, of course. It looks effortless, but I think she did put some thought into it:-)

Definitely looking forward to seeing your interpretation!

I think it's a great look, and I'm fascinated that she can put a hoodie UNDER her blazer! Those blazers always look so perfectly fitted -- does that mean she has another blazer for the layering outfits?

I think *some* sort of necklace would be good - to add another feminine touch and some interest (other than boobs Have fun putting together your version, Elly!

Sorry to be a stick in the mud. I am not in love with the hoodie here because the fleece puts me off big time. I would *love* the look if the hoodie were cashmere.

I do adore the very monochromatic integrity of the outfit, and the shapes work brilliantly together!

I know it's not the point, but am I the first to comment on how awesome Ines's haircut is?

I don't mind the hoodie regardless of its composition. I actually like its contrast stitching. I think the scale of the necklace is overpowering in this particular combination.

Last year I showed this picture to my stylist, but she said it would be too hard for me to style this way every day, with my tres curly hair.

I love this! It's gorgeous! The blues are beautiful. I wonder about heavy necklaces. I often find them overdone in real life, but at the same time, they really kick things up.

Also, I have a hard time with the idea of "tomboy" as fashionable - seems a bit antithetical to me - but gosh if maybe this doesn't push tomboy into the realm of the stylish.

I love this photo! I didn't realize it was Ines and I was going to say something really stupid like, "I love the fact that the model isn't 18." Duuuuuuuh!

The colors are really speaking to me, I love the jewelry and the layers, though it might not work IRL, it sure makes for interesting composition.

I tried . . . but I think having all the same tonal colors makes a difference. I had more contrast than I wanted. Would love to see some give it a whirl.
