Unfortunately, like you ladies predicted, my two skirts are much too big and will be going back to Nordies. I hope their returns are as smooth as you guys sing their praises; I have emailed the company to inform them that I will be making these returns - I am already pretty nervous about it; because even though the company says it is "free" it looks like I will be incurring charges

My Halogen top is great though! I will be keeping that - and being jealous of all you ladies who have a local Nordies!

I'll keep you guys posted.

PS: Rash is blistering and peeling and hurting like heck.

ETA: Even though it is advertised in pretty big writing that shipping and returns are free at Nordies, this does NOT apply to Canada. I am to pay shipping to return things BOOURNS.

Okay dumb question coming but have you seen a doctor? Other than in the mirror. It sounds like you need something to clear that up quickly.

I think something that is blistering and peeling is a topical response, right? But if it's that extreme, definitely see a good derm!

Sorry to hear about the skirts *and* the rash - here's hoping the return process goes smoothly, and more importantly - that the derm appt. on Wednesday provides speedy healing.

Looking forward to seeing the top you got - forgive me, I don't remember which top it was - but am very glad you got something good out of the order.

Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure I've read stories in the news that Nordies is coming to Canada - not sure exactly when though, and also not sure what the prices will be like. It would be amazing if you could order online (for stuff you couldn't find locally) and return to a local store if you wanted to.

Doctors make the worst patients, eh? I'm glad you're going in. Sorry about the skirts - I knew they were going to be too big, you tiny thing, you. Will you try another size? Between about a hundred of us, we could give you a pretty good sense of which size to get (I just ordered yet another, in olive). I'm glad the top worked, though.

Lyn - what size do you normally wear in skirts and pants? I wear a 4P, and that's what I wear in the skirt. But (I said this on another post, too, forgive me if you already read that), I think that the skirt runs large for hourglasses, and TTS for rectangles/apples. It's got a smaller waist and fuller hips, if that makes sense. I have no hips and a bit larger waist LOL.

sarah - I don't normally wear pants. I wear a 00 to 2 in skirts ... I like them to sit a bit higher than waist!

I'm definitely a small waist and a bigger hips girl

Lyn, I would order 2 sizes down. I'm a rectangle with hourglass tendencies (10inch diff btw waist and hip but rectangle from the front view. Can you say bubble butt?). I typically wear a 6. I am a 2 in the seamed skirt. I wanted it to sit at my natural waist. Had I wanted it to sit on high hip/low waist, a 4 probably would've worked.

I have to say I was worried about those large skirt sizes for you, Lyn. Good luck with the size 2, and I'm glad the top worked out.

For what it's worth, I matched up perfectly with a size 6 skirt on the Halogen chart, but a 4 fit perfectly.....and was even a little big in the hips.

I am going to be sending the skirts back to Nordies (I have to pay shipping and it's going to be almost cheaper to keep the items, I think... so I'll also consider this).

I think I'm going to order off ebay now; shipping is definitely cheaper and I'll keep my eye out for a nice size 2.
