Not only is the new job itself fantastic, but the neighborhood I work in is beautiful. I decided last week that my lunch time workout would now include a brisk 45 minute walk outdoors in the area, weather permitting of course. My previous job location was in the city core area and not a safe place to walk around. In fact, if you were leaving the office outside of normal work hours, a security escort to your vehicle was highly recommended.
It's a beautiful day today and since I take my iPhone with me when I go for my walk (just in case), I thought I'd snap a few pics and let you see what I see when I'm powerwalking down the sidewalk...enjoy
BTW this is the neighborhood we're wanting to move into. I would be able to walk to work, my hubby would be within bike riding distance of his office and it's a mere 10 minutes from downtown and other funky neighborhoods. In fact, pic #11 is one of the condo buildings we really like. It is incredibly well maintained, has underground parking, lovely balconies and has been recently upgraded inside. Wouldn't it be sweet if there was a vacancy when we were ready?
