What say you YLFers? I like the style of these because they have a more feminine look than many oxfords I've seen. Since I already have a few pairs of shoes and boots in this brand, I feel confident they will fit and feel comfortable. I bought the black pair.

I like them. They look comfortable, and I like the heel height. That gives them the feminine look.

I love them! I must confess I've been wanting a similar oxford (heeled, with a more delicate toe) for a long long time. Would love to know how they fit once you get to wear them a bit.

Love them too. I'm contemplating a loafer and this really is making my wheels spin. I would do black (because I'm just a black kinda gal). Very nice styling, heal, feminine but with strong line. Great work. I'm putting this image on my inspiration mood board. So yes, I love them.

Gosh - I love them. In fact, I want them!! Fruitful had some very similar ones at the Melbourne meet-up, worn with a dress, and I thought they looked great.

I like them! They look feminine, a little retro. I'm drawn to this style of oxford, too. I recently got a pair that is similar, but with a wedge heel (shown below); I was really after a shoe in this gray color.

I've been eyeing those myself! When you have a chance, please let us know if they're comfortable.
I love the way heeled oxfords look, and have been searching for a pair that looks comfortable.
I just bought these: Fidji Women's L868 Oxford, but haven't tried them out yet.

It's the insoles that make this brand so comfortable for my feet, so it is with great hope that I ordered them. They won't get to me right away, though, because I ordered from onlineshoes.com to get at additional 20% off.

Brigid, I developed a Fidji fixation after Carter posted some cool-looking boots a while back. I just don't know if they'll fit my wide feet, If you tell me they fit like Danskos, that will enable me to try that brand, lol.

Very nice indeed---I had a pair of Clarks that were similar a few years ago and I wore them to death with black trousers for work.

I look forward to trying them. I have trouble with most lace-up shoes, but am hoping these won't bother the tops of my feet. That's really my only concern, as I'm already familiar with the brand and know they're designed for comfort.

Ooh, they look lovely and really well made! Glad you ordered them. I know what you mean about lace ups bothering the top of your feet. I have a pair of Korkies lace ups that fit my soles like a glove, so comfy & supportive, but the laces area rubs. I've been putting a small piece of that thin foam that sometimes comes in packaging between my foot and the shoe tongue and that has helped.

bettycrocker: That's what has me hesitant about wearing the Fidji's. I'm not sure if the leather will stretch enough to make my wider forefoot comfortable. The Fidji's are the same size as my Dansko Professionals but do feel shorter in length. Not sure if it's just the difference in the shape of the toebox or if it's relative to the shoe brand.

bettycrocker, thanks! I got the gray Borns at Nordstrom on sale. I'm thinking of them as replacements for my Fidji heeled oxfords that I've had for a couple of years. The gray color will work better with more things in my wardrobe

Also, which might be of interest to brigid--I have a couple of pairs of Fidji shoes and love the styles, but now that my feet are getting fussier, I don't find them as comfortable as Born or some of the other brands I like (Paul Green, Naot, Pikolinos, Munro, Donald Pliner). And I think Fidjis run smaller than Dansko, in my experience, though it's been a while since I bought Danskos.

I've also been eyeing these, though my budget is presently being used on other things. I own several other pairs of Cobb Hill shoes and find their heel height and insoles work great for me.

Thanks, everyone. I'll let you all know how they fit once I get them. I'll want to wear them to the office to get a good idea of how they feel on my feet all day. I don't have a job where I have to be on my feet all day, but I do a decent bit of walking during the typical work day.

Firecracker: Thank you for your helpful info. My feet have gotten fussier also, and the older I get the less willing I am to sacrifice comfort. I'll look into your brand suggestions as well as see how bettycrocker's shoes work out.

Oooooh nice! The shoes arrived this afternoon, and they have the same fit and heel height as my Cobb Hill ankle boots--the ones I can wear all day and not be uncomfortable. Not walk all over Disney World comfortable, but spend all day at the office with a decent amount of walking comfortable. Definitely well worth the $.
