Finally my new glasses arrived, all three pairs at once! I found it very difficult to take pictures of myself in glasses and capture the angles and colors accurately. I'm fairly certain that these frames meet Angie's guidelines as best as I am able to given that I have a very small face, and features. The optician also suggested I try slightly thicker frames than I might otherwise have picked to help block out glare from overhead lighting which can contribute to headaches in people who are sensitive (I am). My frame search included both online sources and local shops, but in the end I purchased all my frames locally. My DD graciously helped me sort through them to pick the most flattering.

1. The reading glasses are by Prada. The color is called Opal Green. I love how the green is two tone. These remind me of slightly larger and thinner framed glasses in a similar color that I wore in the 80's. I loved them, and I love these. Very comfortable to wear, and of all the glasses, they meet Angie's guidelines the best. They are a bit bold for everyday wear in my opinion, so I have delegated them as reading glasses. I am still toying around with whether I should get a pair for everyday. What do you think?

2. I picked a light neutral pair of glasses for everyday. I'm pretty sure these are Calvin Klein. I had a very hard time getting the color to show up. When I wear them, the color of the blue, looks very similar to my eye color, but in pictures, my eye looks more green than the frame. The frames are a light blue and taupe.

3. The last pair is a medium/dark neutral pair of everyday glasses. This pair is Prada. They are blue tortoise, and the only way to see the blue was to take a very close up photo. They otherwise turned out very dark in the pics.

What do you think? I hope you like them!
