This weekend I stopped in to AllSaints to try on the top/dress/tunic that SarahTheWhite made look so amazing. I left instead with a new top that I adore, for many reasons but the first thing that stopped my wandering hands in their tracks was the fabric.
It's made from cupro, which Google tells me is a synthetic cotton-like fiber similar to tencel. The drape and handfeel are even smoother than tencel, while being weightier and less delicate than silk. I am totally obsessed with this fabric! Unfortunately AllSaints doesn't carry many other pieces in the material. Anyone know where I can source more of this lusciousness in semi-affordable ready-to-wear? The AllSaints top was a splurge for me, more in line with what I usually pay for dresses than for tops.
