Such an unexpected choice for you, Angie - and so perfect!
Greg has such a great eye - and has made some outstanding choices for you lately!

I LOVE them! Soft yet distinctive coloring on you. Nice job, Greg!

YOU ARE ALL LOVELY. Thanks, soooo much.

Really lovely! A nice update- and maybe s good lesson from the color - wheel.

Am I sensing a move to include more browns in your wardrobe, too?
Brown and navy/ ink looks rich. I'm thinking about how I might include touches of brown with navy and gray to soften/ warm it up and use less black, even though I'm cooler- toned. Leather goods are an obvious way, of course.

Thanks for sharing, Angie! I love the blend of classic and boldness in you new glasses -- so flattering and fab! It is so wise to have more than one pair!

The brown is really effective at making your green eyes pop--wait, that doesn't sound quite right! Well, you know...I may try a pair myself, see what it can do for hazel (dark green) eyes.

Super fun! You are the queen of happy specs, Angie. They are flattering and smile inducing. Love their shape an unexpected color. Well done!

Stunning Angie!! Love a cat eye! and you wear it so well. Is there any greater bang for your style buck than a great hair cut and great specs!! Enjoy them!!

You are all WONDERFUL. Many thanks for the awfully kind words.

Getting used to seeing my face with dark specs....

Nice! Do you feel less summery in the darker pair? Will you coordinate glasses with outfits or wear them by season?

Kerry, the answer to both your questions is no, actually. I''ll just wear my specs!

Hi Angie, Sue Blakey from Une Femme D'un Certain Age and I will be in Seattle together this week for a shoppa! If we can meet up it would be a thrill! Can you pm me here? Karen

BEAUTIFUL.

Stellar choice and just darling on you.

(And I know well that uncertain phase where you look in the mirror and startle yourself with the seemingly Gigantic Change in your appearance - we get so used to seeing our glasses as an extension of our looks!!!)

The shape as well as the colour: GORGEOUS on you. And when you are wearing these glasses, we really notice your beautiful green EYES.

Really beautiful - love them! And tell lisap to stop repeating herself.

Wow I never would have guessed that brown would work so well on you Angie. These are delightful! Greg is such a talented stylist.

Angie, didn't think any specs could equal your green ones. The brown ones are just as fab. I love the cat eye.

These are fantastic, Angie. I'm a bit jealous about how fab you look in glasses. I only wear mine at home because I feel like such a dork in them.

How long do you spend trying on glasses before you find the perfect pair? Maybe I need to make a better effort. I'm way over due for new ones and would really like to find a pair that I feel good in. My stumbling block is probably the fact that I feel more attractive without them.

WOW! I love those specs. Your in-house fashion stylist has impeccable taste.

Thank you all SO much for the awfully kind words. I'm blushing and smiling.

JuniperGreen. EXACTLY.

Marilyn, I am hard to fit in specs - small face but big eyes. They also have to make a huge statement, fit perfectly, and be very flattering. It can take me years to find the right pair - and I will pay a pretty penny for them too. My apple green specs were $800 plus. But I wear them EVERYDAY. Please put the effort into your specs!

Thanks, Angie. I will!

Angie they look spectacular on you!!. We must be kindred spirits in eyewear. I have been looking for almost 2 years for the exact same style shape of eyewear and color....still looking

Wow those are a fantastic find! They fit you so well!

Just remember to take them off first when turtleneck season hits.

Absolutely adorable Angie!

Glad to hear it, Marilyn.

Thanks for the kind compliments, ladies. I am a LOT more used to my brown specs. They have begun to feel "normal". LOVE them.

Those are amazing and you look more gorgeous than ever

I hope we'll be seeing more and more brown in your fashion choices; it's a pretty colour for you.
