The majority of my loot has arrived!-)
I will post pictures early next week. The plumbers are working in my flat all day, so can't snap photos at the moment. But I've been enjoying all your NAS posts so much, and all the descriptions and tips were extremely helpful, so I wanted to post my thoughts straightaway too.

- I'll start with the only negative: the Munro Veranda oxfords are going back. I ordered them in regular width, but as a few other people have pointed out, they do run quite narrow, and they pinch too much, especially on my right foot.

Everything else in this shipment is a yes for me!

- Halogen Colorblock top: Fun layering piece. I like how it kind of creates a column of colour with black bottoms (because of the black underlayer).

- Converse sneakers: I ordered them in US size 8.5 (depending on the brand, I'm usually a size 8.5 or 9) and they are a little big. A size 8 would probably have worked too, but with an insole I think these will be great. Fantastic colour and texture. And, as always, Angie was right: they really are a whole different animal than the classic Converse: much more cushioning and comfy.

- Halogen maxi cardigan: I love the material, soft and drapey. Great length and warmer than I had imagined. I haven't worn cardigans in over 4 years I think, and am excited to start again with this one.

- Spanx faux leather leggings: Subtle sheen and easier to pull on than I had feared;-) I'm wearing my denim shirtdress today, and they looked great layered under the dress. I think these are going to be "happy pants" as they make me feel like a superhero in disguise.

- Jen7 Stretch Sateen Straight Leg Pants: Marvelous colour, very soft fabric with a luxe feel. Good length. They look great rolled too. Adore these.

- Eileen Fisher twinset: Angie suggested I size up in the sweater and she was right:-) Perfect boxy fit and I definitely needed the length. Looks super on its own, and just as fab layered under the jacket, which looks marvelous too (arty and interesting). I'm completely in love with this shade of green. Both pieces are boxy and oversized, so not for those of us who are not into that.

- Halogen Long Sleeve Turtleneck: Fits me just like it fits the model. Formfitting. I bought this as a layering piece only (blue COS dress, blue Esprit poncho sweater...). Great length for tall gals.

- Halogen Kick Flare Pants: No wonder they have been so popular! These look amazing on! I got my larger size and am glad I did. Fit on the thighs is not tight but still tailored, which I prefer. And the material is really substantial. Lovely, and I'll be able to wear these in Winter too.

Still waiting for the Pleione sleeveless top in purple, and the Tahari Tessa coat in cobalt blue (which sweet Vicki helped me get). Will post an update when they arrive.

But as far as I'm concerned, NAS 2016 is a HUGE success (and as is the case each year, Angie's wise advice and sizing suggestions helped me get it right - important because returns from Belgium are expensive).

Also: I am SO elated to finally have some green back in my closet. It's my
favourite colour in the world, and had been missing for too long. So I
am super chuffed with my new "green wardrobe capsule".

Sorry for writing a book
