I had different goals this year. I recently started a new job, and the office is much more casual. And, some of my essentials, like jeans and a black raincoat, were in need of replacement. So I focused on that and found a few wildcards too. For other cusp sized shoppers - I'm usually a 1X in tops, but sometimes an XL will fit. I found two things in Misses that I really like - one is an upgraded camel cardigan to replace a poor quality one. I've been hunting for that for two years, so yay! And, I've been looking for a pastel winter coat and I think this one might be it.
A few of my other fave finds:
The shirt dress is very cute in person, and looks great with denim leggings. Perfect for my new job. The olive jacket is as well and is lightweight enough I can start wearing it now over a sleeveless or short sleeved top.
The Melissa McCarthy skirt I can "funk up" for work with tights and boots and indulges my love of crazy patterns in skirts and pants.
And, to my surprise, my replacement for my beloved black raincoat is navy blue. I really like the shade, and I think it will work as well as black with my winter neutrals of black, denim, gray and burgundy. Will I regret not having a black rain jacket? Mine is truly shot, and something I wear a lot in our rainy NW winters.
Edited to add: I've been following everyone else's posts devotedly but haven't had a chance to comment. Y'all are finding great stuff!
