My purchases this year are a bit out of synch with the forum, as they aren't favorites, but I'm happy with what I was able to find.

This Eliza J dress is a flattering cut -- I would describe it as a fit and flare, and I like the way it skims over the hips but has an interesting neck design. Also like the bright shot of warm red and touches of blue in the fabric. The length on me is just at the knee, and I'm size 8 tall. Fit is TTS.

I also like the vibrant, warm red and mod kind of throwback design of the Halogen belted skirt. I plan on wearing it with a white or french blue blouse or a short sleeve summer sweater in navy. Still considering whether a pair of mules might be right for me, as they would probably work well with this outfit. Unlike the online reviews, I did not find that this skirt ran big, but I may have needed a little bit larger size to accommodate my non-waist. I think the fit is generally TTS.

I need sleeved tops that will look good in the heat, and have been having less success there. I like the Caslon tee that twists in the front, but will have to watch to see if sizes come back. I also liked the Michael Stars blouson style top that comes in a pretty ink blue, but the reviews are not very good. It's one size and comments indicate it runs quite small.

I tried on the very favorite Maggy London dress and tried sooo hard to love it. I definitely see the appeal of the length, sleeves and flattering ruching, but for whatever reason it made me feel a little frumpy, so it didn't come home with me. In fairness, I had to try a size that was a little too big for me, so that may have made a difference.

It's fun to see everyone's finds and see your reviews and photos. I'm watching to see if some of Angie's picks come back in stock and hope to pick up a few more great items before the sale ends.
