I am looking for a pair of straight leg jeans with a higher rise, so trying these 2 Wit jeans. Plus, some flip flops my friend recommends. I'm trying the tan booties as a replacement shoe to something I need to move on. They're a brand I've never tried before. And a late add with the Zella tee. I realized it's the same color - purple nebula - of a Zella skirt I own from last year.
Maybe I will still add something last minute, but I am trying to buy for my life and my weather. And I just don't feel like playing the game of ordering multiple sizes. I'm taking my best guess, then moving on.
ETA NAS arrivals so far:
Flip flops - hey have good arch support and feel both soft and supportive, both good things. They are a bit long through the front (toe area), and I have long toes. I wish a bit of that space was at the heel instead. I have decided to return these because the arch support doesn't feel quite right.
Wit straight leg jeans - best of the NAS jeans I've tried so far, but they're in contention against a pair of Hudson jeans I randomly picked up at Nordstrom Rack the first day the sale started. Wit always has a generous fit IMO. I do like the lighter wash.
Wit slim straight jeans - I like the wash color, but the comfort is not there. They are stiff. I simply cannot be uncomfortable from jeans, which makes the search for them more difficult of course.
Zella tee - I'm into purple right now. This matches a Zella skirt color I got last year, and I expect I will keep this. I would also like to quickly rant about the 4 colors they picked for this. White and a grey that looks beige. All the Zella tees in this fabric (I also wear the Zella Ava, my favorite workout top that crosses over for casual on vacation so I can pack lighter) are see through. Black, practical, but I am trying to not add black tops right now. And the purple, which is the color that's sold out. Why not more fashion colors in this tee?
Gentle Souls bootie tan - I like this. It fits my needs. I'm just debating between the tan that I got and the pretty purple. I wear quite a bit of skirts and dresses (due to that whole surgeries thing), and tan is a useful color to have to elongate the leg line and bookend my hair. But the purple is the color I'm feeling at the moment, so I've ordered them today and will decide whether to keep the tan or purple.
1.State flutter sleeve top - I'm feeling this print, as I am a print lover at heart. I am wearing the larger of the sizes I am between. Am just wondering if it's giving off a boxy look. I would like to keep this, since I would get some good wear from it.
Hudson jeans - darker wash (second pic with it shows an old Anthro top in my color of the moment). Soft, runs large. I don't generally wear designer denim, but the difference between the Wit & Wisdom jeans and the Hudson jeans becomes pretty obvious here. But I must say, I'm liking the look of lighter washed denim right now. These jeans fit high rise for me, though they say they are mid rise. Also including the other Hudson find at Nordstrom Rack. The ones I got seem like the darker find, but they match the fabric content and price of the lighter. I think if I tried to order the lighter Hudson pair I'd end up with the same ones I already have. Overall, I find these very comfortable.
