I stopped by the store last night, and got my first order today. Some quick thoughts and pictures.

1) Helene Berman Ribbon Yarn Collarless Jacket: I had told the personal stylist that I was looking for a jacket or topper for the dress I'm wearing in the pictures. She selected this one, and I love it- perfect for the dress, as well as 4-5 other dresses and skirts in my closet. I'm wearing the XS in the picture, which was just a bit snug, so ordered a S. My stylist is also going to try to find the Lafayette Edith, for comparison.

2) Halogen Long Ribbed Cashmere Cardigan: Love! Soft, fun to wear. I was almost tempted to buy two, to have one at home, and one in my office. I did try a couple of the Vince long cashmere cardigans, but this one was softer and seemed more luxurious.

3) Argento Vivo Stick Ball Earrings: Also a fun addition, and they make a statement against my curly hair. I might get the Chain Ball Drop ones as well.

I'm on the fence on the next two items. They would be keepers, but for the first two on the list are so perfect. Thoughts appreciated-

3) Rag & Bone
Dre Slim Fit Boyfriend Jeans
: Thought I'd try a new color for me, with the olive. Not quite sure about the fit, but they feel great on. These are a bit loose in the waist, which I could have taken in. I'm going to let them marinate in my mind for a few more days.

4) Equipment Jenny Stripe Cashmere Pullover: My husband thought this was super cute. I'm holding out for the gray/white stripe to come back in stock, since that combo would be more useful, and fill a hole.

And, a few notes on items that didn't come home with me, or will be returned.

5) Halogen
Side Tie Cashmere Sweater
; From the pictures on the model, I was concerned that the slit on the side might end above my waistband, and it does. The sleeves were a bit narrow for me on the XS, but sizing up to the S would have made it far too large everywhere else.

6) Louise et Cie Fenn Oxfords: I was so hoping these would be keepers. I loved them in the catalog, and seeing them on others here. Unfortunately, I need something that reads more as black, and less gold/metallic. I was also thinking I might embrace lower heels, but now that I've tried these, I know that won't be part of my look this year.

7) Aquatalia Polly Pumps: I got the black dot color, which to my eye reads more like a steel gray. In addition to not having the luxurious feel that I expect for shoes at that price point, the color doesn't fill a hole for me. And, just like with the Oxfords, I'm not embracing heels under 2" for now.

8) Mackage
Double Breasted Wool Blend Long Military Coat
: Beautiful fabric and lovely lines. However, it's not lined, and the fabric is delicate enough that I'm worried it would easily lose it's shape.

I'll probably do a small round two on Friday, but at this point, so happy with my first few items, that I won't be disappointed if the last few items I'm looking for don't get restocked. It's been a great sale thus far.
