My NAS experience and an apology!

I went to my NAS appointment today after work and was surprised that nothing appealed to me. I saw lots of things I liked but nothing I really needed. I did get a Caslon hoodie with an asymmetric zipper that I thought would be cute for camping, and the Trouve metallic sweater in a blue-black (much more blue than it looks on the site), and I did splurge on the Elizabeth & James cateye sunnies. Otherwise, it was perfume and Clarasonic brushes. I'm kind of happy that nothing felt like a NEED.

Also apologies for barely being around - work is a lot of fun but challenging and the day flies by, then I barely have time for family, friends, dinner, errands, exercise, relaxing, and bills... Hopefully it will calm down some once I'm past the learning curve of a new job. I miss it here!

My Nordstrom didn't have them! Since I just got the petrol RB booties, I figured booties were off the table anyway - but dang, those are CUTE!

Love your choices, Una. I might need to check out that sweater....I find it hard to get into shopping for fall and winter at NAS when it's finally warmed up here unless I truly need something. I ended up with some Frye boots and MK sunglasses (birthday presents from DH)

We miss you on the forum (I say with a hint of irony as I too have been missing in action), but we absolutely understand that sometimes life is like that! You're making a huge transition, so finding balance and time for everything you need to do is going to take time. *MWAH* Lotsa love.

Last year I did not get much at NAS beyond basics (bras, PJ's laundry wash) yet in prior years it was a home run. The sale is just really hit or miss for me. I will be shopping once it opens to the public so I am not sure which type of year this is yet.
