OK, ladies, here is what I bought. cell phone snaps attached!
Black casual booties. On sale for $260, F/P $389.

So incredibly comfortable and supportive, and I love the asymetrical zip on the outside of the boot. I went up a half size to a 7.5 and they fit perfectly. I tried them on with a thick pair of trouser stockings, and they had a bit of room so i know I can wear them with socks...I'm usually a perfect seven, so definitely size up!
Paul Green is a well made, sometimes conservative, brand. I originally had my heart set on Vince booties because they're such a modern, slick style, but the Chelsea's were somewhat of a duplicate in my closet. Not to mention more than I wanted to spend, plus out of my size in-store so I couldn't try on. The online-only shearling lined Vince pair my friend warned against due to her disappointing experience previously with Vince shearling lining in another pair. (She said it didn't wear well, which completely turned me off!)
The only other item I purchased was this autumn cashmere waterfall cardigan, $199, F/P $350:

I took home a large, although the medium fit me decently (I just wanted a bit of extra slouch). I'm an 8-10.
Generally I don't like this style of sweater, but since I've been pregnant I've been wanting something cozy I can throw on over a tee. I have VERY few cardigans, none of which are cozy. I know this desire for cozy, easy pieces will only grow as I grow, and probably spill into early motherhood, so this was more of a practical purchase than something I fell in love with. I do really like how the ribbing gives it more structure than many of these types of sweaters, though. And the pale grey IS a good color on me. I would have preferred the ivory color, but that didn't seem practical...I am already making the transition to mommyhood!!
Lastly, the item I left behind for budget reasons (fiscal responsibility - yet another sign of my transition to mommyhood!). SOMEONE BUY THIS PLEASE! This coat is beyond amazing. It pained me greatly to leave it behind. The texture is amazing and it's thick and cozy. The colors are beautiful, the fit it beautiful. Amazing:
