I shopped NAS in person today and came home with several things. I was looking for booties and sneakers, because I like to refresh my shoes at NAS. Also jewelry, as I'm feeling over some of my current selection at the moment. Handbags--I wanted a neutral cross body. And sweaters, since I wear them all the time from fall through spring.

I specifically didn't want jeans or coats. I might have looked at indoor jackets had they been in my sight-line, but I didn't.

To start, here's what I wore shopping

(1-2): a navy elbow-sleeve shirt and pull-on pants in linen-lyocel, a recent purchase from OSKA. This outfit is kind of a replacement for the shorts set I bought by Wild Fang and then decided not to keep (after much deliberation, with your help here on the forum). It was cool when I headed downtown, so I added my wine windbreaker (Zella), and I wore white sneakers (P448) and gray backpack, and sunnies, new this season (Vuarnet, prescription).

What I bought:

3: Cream loafers (27 Edit, Hellen Chain Loafer, in satin pearl); sage crossbody bag (Madewell, Transport Camera Bag in forgotten landscape)

4-5: sage cross-body again; olive lace-up booties (La Canadienne, Cara combat boot, in khaki). The color is much more green in real life, and it's exactly the dark cool-toned olive I love. These boots just had my name all over them: the style, the color, and waterproof for Seattle.

6: light gray cabled & ribbed cashmere cardigan (Club Monaco, cashmere shrunken cardigan). This item is nowhere on the Nordstrom site, but it was on anniversary sale. (Edited to add: Kathie found the item! I've corrected the Find below.)I got a size up, so it fits more fluidly. I could have taken my usual size and worn it with the shrunken look, but I'll layer under it as I'm wearing it here.

7: taupe sneakers (Sam Edelman, Poppy, in mink gray).

8-10: taupe booties (AGL, Moreen, stone leather). I like the idea of light booties, to go with lighter colored outfits. I really like the color and look of these, but I'm not sure they'll be all that useful for me. I'm leaning toward returning, but wanted to see how they looked in photos and figured I'd show them here. They run true to size for AGL, and the leather shaft is so soft.

not pictured: a Marc Jacobs card case that isn't on the Nordstrom website; mini hexagon hoop earrings (Madewell, in silver tone); rectangular link chain necklace (Madewell, edged chain necklace, in silver tone).

Not on sale: mismatched link earrings (Madewell, Story mismatched linear drop, in silver tone).

Also bought some makeup--lipstick and blush--that wasn't on sale.
