Normally, I don't think of my wardrobe in terms of capsules, so when it occurred to me that I actually have a fabric mask capsule I kind of giggled to myself. I mean, I kinda hate wearing the masks simply because they do make it a bit harder to breathe (I have COPD, which makes breathing seem difficult some days), and yet here we are living through the coronapocalypse and having to wear masks to try and flatten the curve.

I have found some plain masks and some really pretty masks, all different kinds of fabrics ranging from cotton to some sort of knit polyester that will be perfect for winter since it makes my face sweat right now. And yes, I think I'm still going to be wearing a mask come winter. I have slowly been collecting a variety of them, because A) I'm an essential worker and therefore exempt from "lockdown" or "safer-at-home" orders, B) at high risk because of my lung condition and elevated blood pressure, and C) I have no washer and dryer in my RV and the trailer park has no laundry facilities, so I have to have enough clean masks to last between trips to the laundromat.

1: I ordered a bunch from shein
2: swimspot has a 10 pack for $25 + shipping, not sure which style I'll be getting
3-8: various prints, all found on etsy
9: I have multiple solid color ones, but this one is the prettiest
10: just HAD to have this one
11: bought a whole yard of this fabric in hopes that I can find somebody to make me one mask from it. I will pay, I willll cover shipping, and I will give the sewer the unused fabric.

All of the really pretty ones will be reserved for days I don't work. Now, I just need to find a pattern for some of those crochet extenders with buttons on them, so maybe my ears can stop hirting.

Has anyone got themselves a mask capsule, or is everyone pretty much on house arrest?
