I shopped the sale at my small, local Nordstrom today. I went before the sale was available to me online, so I didn't do any real previewing, but just looked at what was available in the store.

The keepers:

Undies, several colors (Chantelle seamless hipsters)

Workout leggings, black (Zella high-waist Live In)

Sports bra, black (Zella Fusion)

Rainbow marled sweater (BP)

Longline cardigan in pink adobe (Leith)

Laceless oxford in cognac (Pikolinos, Pyrgos)

The things that came home with me, but I'm unsure about:

Leopard print high-waisted skinny jeans (Frame, Ali)

Brown/taupe snake-print open-heeled bootie (Gentle Souls, Harlie)

Water repellent studdied booties, in black and dark red (Pikolinos, Vicar)

Keepers I bought that weren't on sale:

Mesh sports bra in black (Nike, Dri-Fit Classic Mesh)

Sleeveless t-shirt dress with vertical drawstring ruching, black (Zella, Post Studio Dress)

Here are some photos I took:

1: What I wore shopping. Cream Levi's (Wedgie Icon); mint green v-neck tee and matching long linen blend cardigan (Halogen); pastel-striped Pendleton bag (made by me); tan lace-up sandals (Paul Green).

2-3: the long cardigan (Leith).

4: Marled pullover sweater, with green cropped frayed-hem jeans (Mother, the Tripper High Waist Fray Hem, in Juicy Fruit) and black floral loafers (Ron White). These jeans are a recent purchase, and I LOVE them. The color drew me in.

5-8: Leopard print jeans (Frame) with olive-brown long-sleeved tee (OSKA); brown/black boiled wool vest (OSKA); black Chelsea boots (Dune London). I am unsure about these jeans. I love the print, but maybe it is too high-contrast for me. That is, the jeans may be "wearing me" rather than vice versa. And I wasn't really after skinnies. Somehow I do think the print kind of distracts from the legging-like fit, though. I tried the next size up, but it really was too baggy.

So, what do you think about the leopard jeans? Keep or no?

I didn't try on the shoes for photos. The Gentle Souls backless booties surprised me; they are so comfortable, and different from my other shoes. I love the color and print. I'm not sure how I will wear them, though. Your thoughts?

I brought home both the red and black Pikolinos boots. I do not need booties. But I do wear them most months of the year, and these are waterproof. I'm inclined to keep one, but which color??
