Hello Fabulous Ones,
For years I have relied on a single white linen drapy cardigan to top most of my summer outfits. It is wearing out, and I've not been able to find a suitable replacement, so I've turned to linen jackets instead. Loving linen in general lately!
I like the jean-jacket style, and I have two new ones along with another I got when I copied Slim Cat's blue Jones New York jacket a while back.
Here are some recent attempts at using these jackets with summer outfits.
I apologize in advance for my cluttered photos. There is nowhere else in my house with natural light and a mirror, so I squeeze into this little space in front of my dresser. Many of you have such wonderful selfies. I don't know how you do that!
One thing I've found is that patterns show through the white linen jacket, as in photo 5. Does this bother you?
I've shown some of the simple two-component summer outfits underneath that are common for me when I'm not in shorts, and then with the jacket. I'm kind of thrilled that the aggressive AC in our interiors here often make a light topper necessary. I love the option of having an extra layer that gives a tiny bit of structure.
What about you, does anyone else enjoy linen jackets in summer?
