You look so awesome in these; you definitely need to bring them to a tailor and ask.

I love 'em, Mo. I'd keep and alter and plan for a future of alterations. I have a friend who buys leather pants all the time at consignment stores and has them tailored to fit her. She takes them back after a year or two and has them taken in again to take up the slack in the knees and rear. So, like I said, a future of alterations.

Anna, do you think they look too loose already? I am okay with taking in the waist and hemming, but if they are just not going to fit 5 wears from now, I'll be sad.
K. - that makes sense to think of 'upkeep' alterations on such an item.

They look OK in the thigh, but I need to know how they feel. They should feel pretty tight right now. I'm trying to be honest here.

Definitely, honesty is appreciated. They are not tight. Snug in the thigh, but my J Brand skinnies are much tighter in every way from waist to ankle.

I love these on you! You look so wickedly cute - you have a great figure

Keep, wear a belt until you find a good tailor to alter the waist. Isn't there a Harley-Davidson in Tampa? you might call and ask them, because I think they usually sell leather apparel, and I know that stuff is pretty pricey.

Oh. I just read what Anna said. Go with what she says My leather pants are relaxed fit, not skinnies.

I think those pants look fabulous on you. I agree with the idea of test driving them. They are top of the line so maybe this will not happen but I think suede stretches more than leather so I would check on that when you are test driving them and I would also check that the dye does not run on you (again, it probably will not but I would still check).
I hope they work out because they really look great.

I'm very apprehensive.

May I suggest wearing them around the house for many hours? That way you'll get a better idea of how they will stretch out.

I like the way they fit right now.

I'll have to be quite careful of avoiding kitty cat! I will do the test drive and go from there. I so want them to work, but I don't want to spend $300+ on 'almost' and get it wrong.

I hear you, Malina. That's why it's worth the test drive at home. I personally wouldn't want to see them any tighter. Of course, you could order the size down just to be on the safe side. Compare the two and take it from there.

No size down. These are it. Totally sold out. It's this or nothing. FWIW, my BF would probably prefer the same fit you do No biker chick connotations for him.

Ah. I see. Then we are back to road testing at home for a wee while. And high five to Mr. Malina.

Keep. They look amazing on you and seem to work with where you want to take your style. To my eye they look fine as they are.

I also really like the fit the way it is now (I've lost patience with my skinniest skinnies -- maybe after having abdominal surgery last year my tolerance for tight has lessened, plus fits are trending looser). They don't look legging-ish, which I like. As long as they don't bag out. Test wearing is the way to go!

Love these! I was going to suggest trying the size down, but as that is not an option I'll go with wearing them around the house and then altering if they pass the trial run. The cuffed length looks perfect.

They will not look like Harley Davidson biker babe, because it's all in the styling. Which you will do fine in.

You have lots of good advice from the experts here so all I wanted to say was that these are really gorgeous.

Well they look great and after that I defer to all the good advice above.

They look amazing. I hope they hold up to the wear-around-the-house test.

Oh wow!! Those are gorgeous! I like the fit too the way they are - if they dont stretch out more! Besides - do you intend to do a lot of tucked-in styles with those pants? If not, then even if the waist bit bothers you a bit - it should be fine with a belt right?

I like them with their current fit, I don't like a super tight fit. I think they need shortening. As for the waist, it is hard to tell so I agree with the wear them for a few hours option.

Awesome pants Mo! I agree with the comments above re test driving them. Hope they work out for you!

Love 'em!
Since they are not super tight at the thighs this might mean that they have no-where to stretch?

Whoa! They look awesome. Hope you can make a decision! I vote keep, of course

I would say keep and wear as-is.

IMHO, leather pants can get uncomfortable, if they are too snug anywhere. If after washing, they get looser (which I doubt they will, if anything happens... will probably be getting tighter)... you may revisit the waist altering decision.

Ah, most important: gorgeous snatch! You look really nice on them.

i know i'm late to the party, but i really like the way these fit. it should be fairly easy to take in the waist. if there are specialty leather stores in town, they either may have a tailor or maybe able to recommend one.

So happy to hear that you're thrilled with them! Seconding wear around house/find good tailor options.

Wow! This look amazing. I got nothing for whether they will stretch, how much or tailoring costs/options. They look fab in the photos Wear carefully around the house usually really helps me with hard keep decisions.
