Well after much discussion I decided to take the plunge and go gray. I had about 2-2 1/2” of roots so what she did was leave this and hi-light the rest. It took forever but I think it was worth it. Underneath the top layer was pretty gray to so she hi-lighted the top layer and left the gray. It will take a few appointments but it will soon be my own gray colored hair and I can add low lights if I want to. I wanted it a little longer but she and I have always had difficulties with what 2-3 inches means. It will grow.
Janet my hairdressers sister was diagnosed with breast cancer about 5 months ago. One thing her oncologist talked to her was the effect of chemicals such as hair dye and bleach on your body. I thought it was as interesting since you brought that up on my original thread.
I would enjoying hearing any comments. My husband is on the fence. I am pretty sure he doesn’t like but he is trying not to say anything.
