Wow, this is quite a contrast! The earth tones really feel so seasonal and just right. Are you going to be extensively mixing these pieces in each outfit? Or using sour brights mostly as accents?

Ginger, I know. I LOVE the contrast, and am giving my wardrobe a big hug. I enjoy that there are very few black pieces in my wardrobe too. What do you mean by "just right"? To answer your question, both. I like chartreuse and cream with olive, as well as navy, ink blue, black and gold. Might throw in some tomato and fuchsia.

(And I wear pastels, as well as black & white. Got it all covered, apart from jewel tones).

Your earth tones collection looks a lot like my wardrobe. I love those earthy colors, but I mix mine with deep berries, dusty blues, and black.

These will be great combinations on you! I really like how you embrace light/dark or pastel/rich contrasts. I guess by "just right" I mean how traditionally seasonal the earth tones are. They are personally difficult for me to wear, but I appreciate them and how you wear them. Especially mixing them with sour brights.

Love that first collection, Angie. I'm trying to get more olive into my wardrobe as well. I wish cocoa brown was on trend. It's a colour that I wear well and really like.....so hard to find though.

Your Earth-toned capsule is stellar, Angie. I am very curious to see how you are going to put your fall outfits together.

I prefer a smaller dose of earth toned items, mainly to add unexpected contrast to my cool-toned wardrobe, e.g. cognac with denim, rust with navy etc. I too have gotten a couple of olive toned items in this transitional period, but fewer than you and I am leaning towards greyer versions of olive. It would be fun to find a cooler olive toned sweater.

Without you, I never would think to combine earth tones with sour brights. Just looking at the earth toned items makes me feel so heavy. . .until I view your sour brights which brings me back to happy! Food for thought. I rather like cool brown and cognac, but I never see actual (Petite) clothing in those colors. Or nail polish.

Do you photograph each item that's not currently available for sale? And does one do this using a white background, or is there some app that converts photos to look this way?

Sorry to be such a dunce about this...is there an explanation already posted on YLF about how to go about this? Thanks in advance for any help.
