I love makeup and love experimenting/playing around with the collection I've built up over the last one year, but whenever I'm not sure what I wanna go for or have just 10 minutes at hand to look presentable, this is the look I go for.
It's easy to do and involves minimum products, some of which can be used for multiple things (just how I like it!).
I'd love to hear what you guys think and what your -go-to' products are
Skincare: I use the Body Shop toner and follow that up with the Loreal HydraFresh Deep Boosting Essence. I love this product because it's a gel formula and feels really cooling on the skin...it also mattifies my rather oily skin, so a win-win.
For Base: I use the Paese Mattifying Makeup Base and follow up with Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Makeup foundation (with SPF 20).
As the name suggests, it's a whipped formula, feels very light on the skin and lasts all day! It is buildable to full coverage, so if you're someone who wants to cover up any redness, acne scarring, freckles, pigmentation or age spots- this is perfect!
You can also use this to conceal any veins or darkness under the eyes and it also works great as an eyeshadow primer
Once that all sets in, I go over (very light handedly) with translucent loose powder to set the base and make sure it stays in place.
Bronzer, Blush & Highlight: I always reach for my Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette because it's the perfect 3-in-1 product. I use a light hand and Sigma duo-fibre brushes to bronze, highlight & add some colour to my cheeks.
Eyes: Once again, the Naked Flushed comes handy. I simply use the bronzer from this palette to define my crease and use my ring finger to pop some of the highlighting shade on the mobile lid. You can also use your pinky finger and dab some of this gorgeous highlighter at the inner corner of the eyes, & that will really help to open up the eyes and make you look fresh & awake!
In my waterline and tight line I use the Bourjois Paris waterproof pencil in 41 Black Party.
Top that up with a waterproof mascara (I'm loving the Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express at the moment).
Lips: To finish the look, I use Head Over Heels (Shade 4) by Accessorize on my lips and voila- Done!!!
