My "Get Well Soon" pressie to myself!

5 days with no voice due to pharyngitis and severe asthma has made me feel miserable but I have just done a little online shopping to cheer myself up and I HAD to share!

I decided I wanted something totally frivilous that I would absolutely love to look at and wear... nothing sensible - I want to be happy LOL

A friend was telling me about this ebay shoe store that has divine unique shoes that are inexpensive, but good quality... so I went shopping...

I don't care if they are purely sitting shoes, I just LOVE them and they make me smile just thinking about them

I keep checking the postage tracking but seeing as I only ordered them yesterday they funnily haven't even left their country yet LOL

Will post pics once they arrive and are on my feet

And Anne I ended up getting an ezibuy dress last night too on their sale - Thank You!!

And for now... I'm back to bed with yet another cup of honey lemon tea

Oh, Theresa -- pharyngitis is no fun at all. I hope you're back on your feet -- in your new shoes -- soon. I only got a tiny peek of the shoes before the image changed to "this listing has ended" but they looked hot!

Thank you for the get well wishes girls - I'm feeling much better than I was - just very worn out and fatigued, and would really love my voice back!

Anne I bought the one you linked to but without the cowl neck - well, that's what I think I bought - the order doesn't give me enough details - just "Knit Tunic" - I just hope the XS fits my hips - it will be fine up top for sure... might need to wear thick suck-em-in tights under!

I have read that Oprah Winfrey also has "sitting" shoes.

Hi Girls,

Turns out my pharyngitis and asthma turned into Pneumonia so I've actually been really quite unwell this week, but ever so slowly starting to feel a little bit more alive... gosh I haven't even had the urge to check YLF that's how sick I've been LOL Just lots of resting and sleeping and very little else at the moment - and I can't see that changing for a few good days yet.

But, just had to say thanks so much for loving my new shoes with me They are currently "in transit" so hopefully I'll have them by the end of the week!

Angie I laughed so much at the "self defence weapon" comment that I actually had another coughing fit LOL!!!!

Hopefully I'll be back soon!

Ugh pneumonia sucks. Even when you're feeling ready to post again you'll still need lots of rest and relaxation. Take care of yourself and ask (or demand) lots of help from everyone. Hope you're feeling better soon...

Thank you all so much for your concern and well wishes - it makes me feel happy and smiley and much better

Fortunately the girls dad had already planned to take the girls to their grandparents for a couple of days, so it worked well and i was able to sleep for 3 days pretty much. And being school hols is actually quite good too - no rushing to get anywhere, and two tired little people who are happy to just hang out at home... my beautiful almost-6 yr old is being so helpful - she's been quite the mother hen LOL.

I am definitely feeling better now, but just utterly exhausted doing everything - this has been quite an eye-opener for me - my youngest has had pneumonia every winter she has been alive (touch wood not this one yet!!!), and now I can really appreciate how absolutely horrid she must have been feeling.

Its kind of funny but the first sign I knew I was on the mend was when I had to duck out yesterday and just popped on some bootcut jeans and felt SO frumpy after wearing skinnies so much! But, it didn't bother me enough to change, so I guess there is still a long way to go LOL.

But now, off to have a snack and then back to resting - just getting out of bed and sorting the girls breakfast and morning routine out is exhausting

Theresa, I'm so glad to hear you're definitely on the mend. It's crazy how these things can sap so much of our strength when we get hit with them. Your almost-6-year-old sounds like an angel! Keep resting up and drink plenty of fluids...
