I just received a supersoft "furry" vest that I think I kind of love. I kept seeing other furry vests but they were all just too much fur for me. Probably too much bling or something. I just don't see myself wearing fur even if it's imitation. I think my lifestyle is far too casual.
I've already been enjoying my navy puffer vest several times this season and with our warmer climate, winters typically don't require an all out heavy coat except on maybe a few days of the year, so vests are a great option over long sleeves.
Orvis is not a place I shop every day but I find it a great resource for things like coats, gloves, scarves, etc. and have purchased several high quality items there over the past couple of years. They have quite a large selection of vests this year.
The vest has comfortable zippered pockets and a zippered area that holds the hood in place (and gives sort of a nice pillow pad when it is rolled up). It looks better on than in the photo and works zipped up as well as open. And it matches my natural, active, casual lifestyle, as well as my hair. The brown trim goes well with my furry lined Uggs, which I'm also wearing a lot.
I wear a lot of darker tops so the light color was the best choice for me.
Did I mention it is the softest thing I've touched all year?
