my friend bought these beautiful flats!

The friend who asked me to take her shopping a while back dragged me to Nordstrom last night to pick up some stuff for her upcoming trip back east for her son's graduation from medical school. And somehow she ended up with these flats, which I could never wear but were so fab on her:

Yup. They are comfy. I've only kind of owned them. I bought a pair but returned them because they just weren't in line with my style goals. I wanted something fun and colorful, not classic classic classic. And these are classic to the power of three. They have lots of cushioning and are very soft, beautiful quality leather.

Yes, they are not my style, nor would they work on my square feet, but they were soooo pretty on her (and she is so classic in style).

It is a very classic shoe but check out the wedge sandals at nordstrom.com - definitely not as classic. His men's line is beautiful.

Cute! Those are very similar to the AGL flats I see a lot of at Last Chance. However, an inch and a quarter heel is not a flat for my fussy, fussy feet.

ETA: DUH! The designer's initials *are* AGL, so they are one in the same. So I can attest to the fact that they do make completely flat shoes, but the elastic they often have on the sides cram my feet into the toe box and render them uncomfortable for me in that respect. The leather is very soft though, and there is good padding.

agls are 12 hour shoes. they survived a climb thru mud to wineglass bay. so comfy...like i'm wearing pillows on my walkabout.
