Hi everyone...

I am so late to trends it's comical. Would anyone believe this fall I bought my first and only pair of skinny jeans? And of course, for me it was shoes...I finally found a pair of boots I could wear for short periods. So now of course, there are many "I'm so over the skinny trend" posts.

But that's fine with me...I don't love them. I have a hard time with the fit...if they are small enough to fit skinny, they dig into my apple belly. No matter how tight I go, they always bag under my butt.

I have one pair of black jeans I love and they are trouser style. They fit so great they actually make my patootie look major cutie and that's saying a lot. They fit snugly until right under the butt, at which point they hang like nice dress pants.

I would love blue ones but I've worn them into at least 8 stores and asked if they had anything that fit like that, trouser jeans style. And gotten blank and pitying stares! Skinnies are all any store around here is offering.

Any advice on where else to look? Or do I just wait a few more years for skinny to go away?
