Welcome, Catnip. Angie's recommendations are always for adult women, so I don't think you can go wrong in that respect. The question of age appropriateness comes up with some regularity here, and my takeaway is that adults don't wear stuff that is too short, too tight, and too revealing and have to be extra cautious when shopping in the junior department or junior oriented store because a lot of items are too short, too tight, too revealing, or the fabric is too thin and sleazy. I am assuming you don't plan to spray paint those skinnies on, right?
I am currently age 60, and I get a lot of "You don't look __!", as I'm sure you do. I'm starting to answer back, "But this is what X age looks like." We don't all wear sweats and running shoes or whatever they think women of a certain age wear.
