Well this was fun. I've never shopped in the presale before. I signed up for a Nordstrom card last night. I had trouble signing in this morning, and the Nordstrom customer service and credit people couldn't have been nicer. Here's what I bought:

Janet, the shoes are beautiful. I saw them yesterday in the store but I have sworn off laces so they stayed behind. The jacket is perfect for your weather.

Suz, I'm really trying to stick to my colors - grey, blue and olive. I've loved Angie's silver oxfords. I hope these work. The Earthies metallic oxfords I have are quite dark.

We may be Oxford sisters. I ordered those as well but in black patent. I already have 2 pairs of shoes in gunmetal.

I ordered the shawl cardigan, too. I really hope it works out!

I love the colors of the Pendleton coat. I have the one offered last year in red/black and MUCH prefer the blue/black this year!

Anne, the cardigan looks so cozy. I hope it works out, too. I think I remember the Pendleton coat last year. I couldn't participate because I didn't have a Nordstrom account, actually, until last night. I'm a nut about plaid.

Last three items are all top picks, JAileen. Pendelton coat runs very big and is slightly scratchy. But that only bothered some of my clients.
