Sounds like I'm announcing the birth of something . Ha. Anyways, this Old Navy mule is SO comfortable, cushioned inside, and supremely well made, that I've just ordered another pair in black. These are a knock off of the ubiquitous Jenni Kayne style that's been around for a few years, and one that I've come close to ordering more than once.
The ON price is a lot more in my comfort zone in my new life
Reasons why I duplicated:
- mules/slides are always , a part of my summer looks
- these are a "new cut" (not usually seen in lower price shoes) that stays on exceptionally well (although I never have issues with mules or slides)
- they instantly add something to a very basic outfit - see photo
- these have an additional comfort pad under the ball of the foot
- the fabrication, while synthetic, actually looks like a high quality nubuck
I'll wear the black to work and with shorts ,and the new Gap gauze shirtdress in meadow green I just ordered, thanks to Suz
I've already worn these cheetah print ones with blue jeans, black linen pants, black jeans, and to the gym with black tights.
photo - Gap Girlfriend jeans, some random cheetah print t-shirt, and a Wilfred/Aritizia cable cardigan. Nothing special here - just thrown on to drive husb to get his first vaccine
