When I was pregnant with my second child, I bought some highwaisted bengaline trousers (not maternity) that I loved and wore to death, They stretched til about 7 months and were great for the postpartum period. I tried to replicate the style with two slightly cheaper pairs. They were black and brown but I have just shown the brown pair here

I DON"T wear them with just that white top. (I do with the black top; it is one of my easy outfits) And please excuse something weird going on with the bra.
Also please disregard the blatant lack of PPL. Not only did I hem them prior to YLF, but I think they may have shrunk a little.

I love these pants because the high waist helps to keep in my tummy (more so that the pictures show, because the waistband is a little obscured by the white top) but they are starting to develop little elastic threads in the inner seams around the crotch and thigh area.

So my question is, if you came imagine them longer, do you think this type of pants is flattering enough for me to purchase some more?

BTW I have also worn them the black ones with my pink tunic/dress (shown here with skinnies and generally deemed to long for them)

Do you think they are too loosefitting to wear with tunics?

Oh and here is a pic of me wearing the black pants (I've lost a bit of weight since them)
