Over the last couple of years I have added a few tops that have become real workhorses because:
- they don't need tucking because they have a welt or are designed to sit on the waist or high hip
- they are more elevated than a tee shirt but less fussy than collared shirts
- they layer under blazers or jackets
- they stand alone well
I was on a shopping ban for January but saw another one - a linen knit - and decided it was worth the splurge.
I have other tops that I don't always tuck, but I do have a real fondness for these tops that are so simple to wear. Perfect for people who are short waisted like me, or who like some waist definition without boxiness.
