My husband gave me this necklace —
An artisan makes them from a location on a map you select and then marks a spot you designate with a pearl or a diamond. The pearl on this marks the spot where my husband and I met,
23 years ago! I actually teared up when I opened it.
I wore it to cook and eat Christmas dinner tonight. We splurged on lobster tail and crab cakes, and it was as
delicious as any restaurant meal, if I do say so myself!
Woody and Sunny have special holiday collars today too. We had a relaxed holiday at home — just us. My eldest stepson dropped by to pick up his gifts and we really miss hanging out with the boys, but we are standing firm on our social distancing practices.
One of the dogs was naughty and tried to open one of my husband’s gifts last night — oops! Fortunately nothing damaged. I guess it smelled good, LOL.
