Hello everyone! The other day, a few of you ladies helped me figure out my body shape! I always though I was inverted triangle, but I found out from your help that I'm an hourglass with a strong shoulder line. When I mentioned something about having trouble finding dresses, a few of you girls suggested that I look in the petite department. I did that today and came home with three new dresses! I normally hate shopping because I can never find clothes that flatter me. Once I found out I was an hourglass, I looked up what dresses look good on this body type and I remembered those guidelines while shopping today. The first dress, the silver one, was not my favorite, but originally priced at $90, it was on sale for $14! Dumbfounded at this drop in the price, I asked if there was anything wrong with the dress and they just replied that they found it in the back and no one ever bought it so they lowered the price. The second dress, the black polka dot one, I loved when I first tried it on. The waistline was perfect and the ruffle was just enough to make it seem like my hips and shoulders were perfectly in line. The third dress, the sold black one, I also loved. The top was a little big, but I figured I could just wear a push-up bra when I wear this out. I added the belt myself to show hope and make the top a little smaller. I might do a different color belt, but it matters where I wear the dress. Overall, I really liked all three dresses and hope to have this much luck when I go shopping next time!
