First off, I just lost out on a perfect pair of cognac ankle boots at Kohls.com because they sold out while I was looking for stuff I could add to my order to get free shipping. Argh! (I guess I should do less complaining about the Nordstrom Rack website - at least they reserve the items for you, even if it is just for an hour.)
Anyway, happier thoughts. I don't need jeans for this fall, far from it. I don't need many tops, and I don't think I need any sweaters. I don't need ballet flats, although I'd love to find a pair of oxfords, and several of my boots and booties could use replacement. I think I've got some holes in (outdoor) jackets. I'm eyeing the slim cargo pants from Duluth for a 'like jeans but still a bit more interesting' option. http://women.duluthtrading.com.....ants-21400.
I posted a few weeks ago about perhaps trying some more substantial jewelry. I'm still ambivalent about that and whether it fits my style/personality. It's hard to justify spending any money on jewelry when I so rarely wear what I already own.
I've got a writers' conference and several other short trips planned, including a friend's wedding in Vegas, so I'll need to do some capsule planning for that.
