Posted on Peri's thread but thought I'd post here as well in case any of you want to try this on your own partners questioning the amount of boxes arriving at your house!
My DH just had an epiphany about PPP - he had to return a defective jacket to REI yesterday, and we found two possible replacements. After talking to an SA (who is an acquaintance), she convinced him to buy and take home both to test out. Which he did! I seized the opportunity to point out to him that THIS is why I get so many packages and return so many things - because it pays to be picky and try as many options as possible. And he GOT IT!
Although now he wants to keep both jackets - HA. There's that too.
