My apologies - my weekend plans changed suddenly and I only replied to half the posters.
Lisa - I like your chocolate pieces. Esp the patterned blouse.
Interesting isn't it Carla. My Mum wore a lot of chocolate in the 1970s - it was her favourite. As her hair changed to more of a strawberry she moved away from it towards lighter colours (you have similar colouring to my Mum, and similar hair). I love that leopard shirt - I used to have a leopard print shirt and it was a super useful piece. Great with black, great with coffee, good with red and also with denim.
As a fellow bright spring I think chocolate is good on our colouring. I like my camisole but as it is bare I don't wear it to work, and then it just doesn't get a lot of outings. Good to be able to lend something for maternity wear!!
I wonder if you will end up with chocolate Suz! I could see some cord pants or wool trousers being a good choice for you, if you want a different neutral in winter.
Angie - I do prefer mid to lighter browns. I love so many of your pieces here with my most favourites being the belts, the striped sweater and the footwear.......Love those patterned belts - something I should keep an eye open for.
Roberta - chocolate brown cords are something I would love to find next year. Although I did wear them as part of my school uniform in the 1980s (the uniform was developed in the 1970s so we disliked it intensely).
Cat2 - sounds as though you are sorted with brown! Cords again - definitely a good piece to have. I wore a lot of chocolate in the 1990s and early 2000s. At the time I loved it with duck egg blue.
Julie - bitter chocolate can be nice on cooler toned people - and I think having shoes and pants are a great idea.
Bijou - love your leopard print. That golden brown is very appealing to me too.
