Last December, my SIL had twins who were 12 weeks premature. The boy was 1.3 kg, and his little sister a mere 700g, and we were so worried that they wouldn't make it. They live in another city 7 hours drive away from me, so I've only seen the twins once while they were still in hospital. They came home in late March.

This weekend the little family of four came to visit us, and both twins are healthy and gaining weight now. The boy is now 5.5 kg, and his sister 4.5 kg. They smile, hold eye contact and are perfectly normal babies. The parents struggled for five years before they finally succeeded in having their precious children, and are now getting too old for having more. This was their only chance, and both children seem to be healthy and normal. We couldn't have been more blessed.

My brother is only three years younger than me, yet my own children are so much older than his. Life works in mysterious ways, and it was such a joy to hold a tiny baby again after so many years. I am so happy for this that I needed to share it with you!
