I ordered this necklace from Banana Republic at the end of December. It came today. I was so excited, as I've wanted a clear necklace (with no backing on the crystal parts) for a long time and fell in love with this and was super excited when it recently showed up as an Angie pick! The picture shows exactly how it came. It was, of course, broken. It laid between a layer of bubble wrap with no enclosure, on top of a plastic bag, on top of a piece of cardboard. No wonder it was ruined! The only thing my brain can grasp is that it was a return, mistakenly picked up and put in an outgoing shipment. I called customer service and she apologized and asked if I wanted to place a replacement order. I said I didn't want to blame anyone but that higher ups should see how this happened so that they can control shipments better and she tried to access a form for me to fill out to no avail. I took this picture so I can email it to them just so they can see. We'll see how I do with that.

I might choose to drop it off at the closest store even though they don't carry it but don't know if I should.
