My boyfriends received a lot of hate

I wore this weekend my boyfriends for the first time And everybody hated, my hubby, my daughter and even the boys! I felt comfy and cute. Not a ten, But maybe an 8.
What do you think I can do to improve?

So you traumatized those around you by changing things up from what you normally wear and how they picture you, LOL. It happens.

Seriously, you look stylish and adorable. The BF are flattering on you, and I have to say slimming. You look like fun to be around and an up-to-date, modern woman.

I think if you continue to wear these with confidence they will come around, because you really do look great.

Well, I think you look very stylish and they suit you well! They just need to get used to it. I remember when I first saw boyfriend and skinny jeans and I hated them. But now I love them!

I guess it's up to you whether you can weather the criticism from your family to wear the style, or whether it bothers you enough to avoid it in the future. Once I know my husband hates something I wear, I find it very difficult to wear it again. But he likes the vast majority of what I do wear, so I don't run into this very often.

If you continue to wear your BFs, your family may just get used to it.

I actually think they are very cute, I didn't like them when you posted them from the dressing room but I think you totally nailed the look.
Do you have any slightly higher heeled oxfords or booties?

You didn't say *what* they didn't like about them - the distressing? the bagginess? the rolled cuffs? My BFs are not all that baggy, they are faded, not distressed with any holes or extreme wear. I also do not cuff them very high on my leg. And I don't wear them with heels since I just don't wear heels. My DH loves them on me. That said, he does not love every thing I wear but I want him to so I can see why it would bug you.

I can't see these very well in the photo but it seems you look very cute and fashionable.

Yes, I think WE know better and I think you look adorable and your BFs are nicely fitting BFs.

I like modgrl's idea of wearing them with some heel for a while, that may help your DH make the transition. Then come summer, slip back into those sandals and flats and get comfy

You always have the best advice.
They didn't loved the rolled cuffs and the fact that they are baggy! I think they will get used to the idea because I loved and now, that I look at the photo I love even more.
We at YLF are always a stap ahead and they just need time (I hope).
The heel is a good Ideia (hubby loves heels), I must try it with a heel and with out the rolled cuffs!

Well I love them! My DH still hates mine, too, and won't let the subject die. I have started telling *him* to try wearing skin-tight jeans for 2-3 years, even in the hot summer, and see why I appreciate loose pants now!

I was also going to suggest a higher heel. And you might want to adjust the rolled cuff so it's a little wider. But those are just tweaks -- as everyone else says, you look adorable!

I think you look great. But as a fellow petite, what I find works with bf jeans is to wear heels, and sometimes to roll the hem a little longer. That would be my idea that might bring a little more love your way!

I think you look good & so do a lot of YLFers it seems and I also understand wanting to be attractive to your DH. Other than pleasing myself who is the person I would want attracted to me? DH of course. And not to get all insecure but there are other women wearing what my DH likes. Anyway, I think all but the most fashion forward men prefer clothes that show the shape of our bodies...meaning tailored & bodycon. They like our bodies I'm sure you have many clothes that he does like though so I wouldn't worry too much.
