Here's an old picture of the last time I wore the shirt dress I'm thinking of diy'ing. I actually love the shape of the dress. It's very rare that a fuller skirt works on me, so I would love to be able to wear it. It's just that pristine ladylike bent that doesn't feel like me. I can't figure out how to style it to look and feel like myself. I think it's also a texture thing, this is a somewhat stiff smooth fabric. I think that's why the tie dye idea appealed to me.
