My Boots Went on Sale!!

The red LC Lotus boots that I just got went on sale...from $297 to $237 at Zappos--which is where I got them. Do I have any recourse even though I've already worn them outside??

I would call customer service and ask for a price adjustment, since you just bought them a couple of days ago.

Wow Nicole, I didn't know you had these! I was out of town last week and must have missed it. I got the same boots in black about a month ago but haven't worn them yet... hmm. I hope you can get the price adjustment. How do you like them?

Hey Nicole, I think you should contact their customer service and get a refund, this is from their site:

Q: Do you match your own prices if an item goes on sale after my purchase?
A: Yes, if an item you order from Zappos goes on sale within 10 days of your original purchase we will refund the difference.

Those boots looked amazing on you today. And you looked so pretty!

Ugh, this same thing happened to me. Right after I bought the red Guess jacket, it went on sale for $47! That's about half of what I paid! Unfortunately I just forgot about it, so I would say get on it immediately before you forget too!

Marianne, I love these boots--they are very comfortable and I'm thrilled that they are waterproof. Angie had suggested I order 1/2 size up--and I did, and they fit perfectly. Were you able to wear your true size? I feel a little self conscious about the larger size. I know 1/2 a size doesn't make my feet look that much bigger, but the color attracts enough attention. I just feel like my feet look big--but I know it's mostly in my head. People are not studying my feet that closely! (at least I hope not!)

Nicole, I just saw pictures of Boston YLF party with the boots, very nice! The red color is gorgeous. I loved it but I really needed black. That's interesting that you had to go up in size - I got my regular size and it was fine, there is even extra room in the toe. My feet are on the narrow side though. I haven't worn mine mainly because I was in denial about fall and was trying to wear my ballet flats as long as possible, and then as the weather turned bad we went on a beach vacation and just got back. I also wasn't sure if I was going to keep them, because of the expense and my job uncertainty. But now I am excited about breaking them out, glad to hear you love them!

I am totally doing the Wicked Happy Dance--which for those of you who are not from New England--the Wicked Happy Dance is several notches of happiness above the regular Happy Dance!

Zappos is going to refund the $60 back to me--just as Tanya said, they have a 10 day price guaranty. So Woo--Freakin'--Hoo!!!

Not that $230 boots aren't totally decadent--but I definitely have a warm fuzzy feeling for Zappos and will be eager to shop with them again!
