(Not really a K/R but please do speak up if you see something horribly wrong with these.)
You might remember that a couple of weeks ago I realized that snowworthy but still somewhat sleek tall black boots were a big wardrobe hole for me. Sveta suggested that I try Blondo boots. Well, a local store had a couple of pairs that I tried on, but the ones I liked were only available in brown. So I searched around online and found them in black and ordered them last week, and they have arrived today. I really like them. They are not galoshy! And they are warm (fully lined in fuzzy material), and waterproof, and have good traction.

PS - Not giving up on the gold zipper boot search, but maybe dialing it down a bit. I am a little exhausted by it. I'm also thinking that maybe I should go for gold zippered or buckled booties instead.
