Hi all -

I waited until my birthday yesterday to hit the stores. I was armed with my list of things and found quite a few. There are still things to get but ran up against my budget. I'm sure I'll be able to make due.

First, I order a pair of booties to wear with pants that I wear with flats. They haven't arrived yet, but here is the link: http://www.overstock.com/Cloth.....oduct.html I hope they work out. The link says they're grey, can I wear them with brown?

A couple things were final sale, so I hope they're ok. They were the jcrew skirt and the ATL top. I need to get the jcrew skirt altered a little in the waist, which I think will also bring up the length. I also tried on some other suiting there. I have picked out which one I want to get and can start saving.

One of the things on my lshopping ist was pant length tops. So many of my tops are too short for pants. It's really been frustrating me. So the ATL top and the Style & Co top are attempts to remedy that a little. I figure the ATL will work for weekends and Style & Co for work.

Regarding the BR dress, how do you think the sleeves work for me? They seem a little long to me. Should I see about getting them shortened?

I had wanted the boyfriend cardi from BR. I think it's better quality, but I waited too long so they were out. But I think this one works. Do you think so?
