My $$ BF jeans - keep or return?

They came lightning fast! Ordered off eBay at 6pm Sat. and they're here already. I need help on the fit, though. I've worn snug jeans for so many years I don't know how loose is too loose. What do you think? Pics 1 & 2 how they came. Pics 3, 4, 5 rolled up one more. Pic 6 full length (I'd put on heels at this length).

Are you trying out the trend or do you see yourself wearing this style long term? If you are just trying this out, I would go with a lower price point, before putting the big $$$ out. Have you fully rationalized the spenditure? If so, I vote keep. I like the longer length.

I love them! I want ones with flap pockets, but don't like the Gap ones. These look great!

These really fit nicely Mo and look fantastic on you. I think the cuff needs to be skinnier though. You may need to hack some fabric off the bottom.

Mo -- this Milanese woman has been my inspiration for all of these trends: rolled denim, distressed, and boyfriend fit. Note how it is a smaller roll, closer to the ankle.

My copycat version in #2 from April. When it was still green and not 104.

ETA -- forgot to add that I like these but you may need to shorten them and even peg them a little. It's weird, some TR Cameron's have a wider opening than others. I do think the fit looks fine on you. Do you have the link for these? They look like a pair I got off Piperlime. They stretch out a lot, compared to my other Camerons which don't stretch at all, or very little. I am wishing I had ordered a size down. I haven't posted any pics with them, I'm wearing them to work in.

Malina--I think these are possibly suffering a bit from the issue Angie recently pointed out. If they are long enough to look good unrolled (which these do), then they are probably a bit too long to be rolled in a way where you get that slim, short roll look (like the pics Anna linked to). I agree that the wide cuff look isn't exactly what you want here. If you are just trying on the BF look for fun, I think the Gap ones (I have a pair) are a really good option, especially with their weekly coupons. Personally, I'm having a hard time justifying the price of premium denim for a look that is only occasionally in rotation and one that I probably will only wear a few seasons at most. I also wonder if you would possibly consider going up another size if you really do want that slouchy, baggy BF look.

Thanks Denise for all the help. I got the mixed hardware vintage ones. http://www.truereligionbrandje...../5940?cs=1 And I see they have 1% stretch, unlike your Tahoe ones. I am contacting the seller about a return. I worry if they stretch at all they will fall right off my hips. I think I like the hint at slouch more than the almost falling off slouch lol.

EDIT: they are 33 waist and 40 hip (not 32 and 39 as I expected) that extra inch can really make a difference.

I don't mind spending the $100 some odd dollars for these because I am totally in love with both the hardware and the flap pockets

I really like the fit and think they'd still look nice stretched out a tad (I know you have cool belts, so I don't think a stretched waist is the breaking point here). I like Denise's thinner leg roll - interesting that you have the same style, but the legs look wider on yours.

I think my 12 1/4" calves make any pant leg look wide LOL. I may yet be keeping these, but want to be extra, extra sure before I commit. I can't help but think they'd still look cool one size down and I'd be less worried about stretch out.

Generally the Camerons run big but some also run really small so you never know for certain. Mine are also EAD but with less distressing, so assuming yours also being a version of EAD are the same 1% stretch fabric, I would order a size down. Just curious how much you got them for? TR stores never have a sale and can you believe they only have a 7 day return privilege!!!

EDIT: I just realized this is likely a counterfeit site Maybe I will just try and shrink mine half a size.
