Well, I tried on a few pairs of Uggs sheepskin booties yesterday. The lining is amazingly soft and cushy but the tall ones were a bit tight around my calves with jeans and the short ones just weren;t the look I was after. Plus they were pretty pricey in this store (about $250). I also tried Doc Martens for the first time in my life and while I didn't look like Frankenstein's monster, I did feel like they were a bit chunky for me.

Then I slipped on these mukluks. In black. They are made in Canada by Manitobah mukluks which is an aboriginal owned business. Thye also have a vibram soIe, so extra durable and comfy. I can't model them because they are getting wrapped and put under the tree for me.

I feel happy!
