Last Friday morning, our condominium sustained major fire damage to the one side of the building. Luckily, our unit was spared but others were not so lucky. About 15 units had major fire and water damage and at this point no one in the building is allowed back in.

We had a chance to grab a few things with escorted access (grabbed the important things like clothes, bikes, and wine bottles;) and are currently staying at a local hotel. It's fun in a way, but living in a hotel may take its toll fast, like where the heck do you do laundry?

Still no news as to the cause of the fire and are waiting patiently to get back home. I will keep you posted of any changes in our living arrangement.
