Dear Angie and dear Fabbers, first of all - HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Here I am with my usual year-end wardrobe report.
I am pleased to say that my 2022 went definitely well.
I have been very disciplined with shopping
and I have started to plan at least a bit my outfits. I have also been lucky to find a shop that sells clothing that I like and that is my style. All this has favoured a better wardrobe management.
My 2022 Goals were all achieved: 1) keep the wardrobe small; 2) add
more light, happy colors; 3) add some dressy pieces to my mostly casual
wardrobe.
At the end of September I did a big wardrobe purge. After that I have noticed that I started to sleep better. It is true that decluttering is therapeutical.
Now it's time to refresh my wardrobe. A good number of clothes, after having been worn intensively, need replacement. The idea of a big refresh makes me feel excited - especially if I think that I need new sandals, my favourite wardrobe item (pre YLF I owned 16 pairs of sandals, in 2022 I have had only 2 - I've told you that I have become disciplined! )
My 2023 Goals
No particular goals, except to continue to keep the wardobe small and buy only what makes me feel fab. If I don't find the right piece I better give up and make do with what I have. This has turned out to be the best strategy for me.
