Hello dear Fabbers and Happy New Year!

I would like to share with you my considerations after doing my usual end-of year-wardrobe report. In brief:

Total number of pieces of clothing worn in 2017 - 95. This includes tops, bottoms, cardigans, jackets, dresses, shoes, outerwear. It does not include accessories, loungewear, sportswear and underwear.

Total number of purchases in 2017 - 29, of which 10 are mistakes ! The majority of mistakes are tops. It seems that during 2017 I have been buying tops impulsively, not taking into consideration my body shape and style.

The total number of clothes is not bad but I think I could live with less.

The number of mistakes is very bad! I have to work on this.

Good news: I have been able to refrain from buying jackets that then I do not wear (I adore jackets but they do not fit my body shape and climate).

Shoes - I did fine, as in 2016. I have learnt to buy shoes that work well with my feet and lifestyle.

My goals for 2018:

1) get rid, pitilessly, of all what is not working. I still keep too many "meh" clothes that I take out in emergency to replace a HEWI. But since they are meh, they make me feel unhappy.

2) buy less and buy better. This will require attention and discipline.

3) take up my style a bit. After years of practical, casual clothes I am starting to feel the need of something dressier.

Thank you for reading! Of course comments and suggestions are very welcome.
