Peri, I always love to see your outfits. It is very hard to stay stylish "with some restrictions" and you are doing a great job.
I love these rich jewel colors on you like in that cobalt blouse - just beautiful. The grey top is very flattering with its great drape as well. And of course your necklaces are gorgeous! I have been off all necklaces for several years and now slowly getting excited to wear them again. Life does come in circles.
I also has been guilty with being not very active on the forum this year and almost completely absent for the last month. Life does get in the way.You are inspiring me to get back my groove!
And I would love to see you dance WIW outfits - pretty please?!

You wear the layered necklaces so well! I feel like wearing multiple necklaces at the same time without looking overly busy can be a challenge, but you just make it look effortless. And you do look great in cobalt.

Not that I was ever a super-involved poster, but I haven't been posting WIWs (or much of anything) lately, and I go through a lot of the same thoughts about whether my outfits are post-worthy. I think that, when I do post, it's as much about letting people know what types of things I wear so they know where I'm coming from when I participate in other discussions as it is about anything else. It does feel kind of weird sometimes to post my pictures, since it's hard not to compare with others in a whole bunch of areas (photo quality, trendiness, level of polish, weight, take your pick) and feel like I'm coming up short.

I am quilty of that, not only because of lack of time but the insecurity of sharing my pretty classic looks.

I never posted K/Rs as think nobody will know better than me what to choose from what's available here(in my neck of the woods:-)).

I dress for work, and my wardrobe is now at a pleasing stage for me, but my daily WIW and FFBOs are mainly the pencil skirt/dress silhouette-so not really on trend and noticed, not that popular among the forum members, either.

I continuously try to incorporate trends to what I have already, doing some upgrading, too-and this is a great place to come for inspiration.
OTOH I experiment with completely new looks only seldom-but you can bet, those are pretty well documented here:-).

Although I am guilty of not posting WIWs for a variety of reasons (privacy issues, technologically challenged, etc.), I love seeing other members WIWs. It doesn't matter to me that they may be variations on a theme or not spectacularly trendy. Seeing what others are wearing helps me to become accustomed to different silhouettes, get ideas for how I could add to my closet and how I might pair things I already own so as to not require shopping for new things. I am not one who has a sharp eye for detail or new trends so it takes me longer than many to get used to new trends or even to notice that they exist. By seeing them on people here or reading threads discussing styles, I become more sensitive to them when I see them and more willing to try them myself. It helps to keep me out of a rut that I sometimes have a tendency to fall into. I very much appreciate people taking the time to post WIWs even if I do not comment. Often I don't comment because I feel like I don't know what to say; I will have to work on that so my appreciation is expressed more.

I love WIW posts, too, for all the reasons previous posters have given. And feel nervous about my own, as well. I love that there's a little group of Southern Hemisphere fabbers, I'm not on my own in the opposite season : ) YLF is such a friendly place, even as people come and go .
